Giving Sunday 2025 

Each year, Giving Sunday gives us a chance to prayerfully reflect on how we can each play our part in all that God is doing in and through us as a church, by the way we use our time, talents and resources.

Why should I give?

We give in response to the extraordinary love and generosity of God towards us, in sending Jesus to die and rise again for us. We also give because it is a joy to be a blessing to others!
 
Your giving enables us to run a wide variety of ministries that bless our church and the wider community, while also supporting other charities locally and overseas. You can see a summary of our 2025 budget at the bottom of the page. This year, we’re facing a projected shortfall due to rising costs. We’d love to close that gap so that we can be bold in discerning how God is calling us to grow and build for the future.

How should I give?

If you consider HTR your home church, we’d love you to consider setting up a regular monthly gift. This allows us to plan confidently for the year ahead and beyond. However, we are hugely grateful for every single gift we receive, and it all makes a difference!
 
Ways to Give:

• Standing Orders: Set one up online or ask us for a form
• Payroll Giving: Donate directly from your salary and save on tax
• Gift Aid: If you’re a UK taxpayer, let us claim back the tax on your donation – it’s free for you and incredibly helpful for us!
• Legacies: Consider including HTR in your will to leave a lasting impact

Giving Your Time and Talents

God has given each of us gifts to use for his kingdom, and the church comes alive when we all play our part! We’d love every member of HTR to be part of a team where they can belong and serve.
