Whether you’re new to the area or have lived here for a while. We hope this information will tell you everything you want to know about our church. But if you have other questions, please get in touch with us by e-mail or call our Church Office on 020 8404 1112.
Some key information about HTR
When and where does the church meet?
We are currently open for Sunday morning services at 10.00am. We are also live-streaming our services for watching at home. You can find out more details here. Our address is Holy Trinity Church, Sheen Park, Richmond, TW9 1UP.
How do I get there?
If you come by car, we have a small car park and there are some spaces in local streets. We are about ten minutes’ walk from Richmond Station (train and underground services). Many buses serve the town, and some have stops very close to the Church Centre.
What should I expect when I visit church?
In the current pandemic restrictions our services are a bit different from normal. You can expect a typical Sunday service to include some prayers, a reading from the Bible and a short talk. We cannot sing together at the moment, which would usually form part of our service, but we will include some music during the time together. Face coverings should be worn and sadly we cannot provide refreshments or social time before or after the service. Our page on Sunday Worship contains more information about what to expect and a short video.
Are children welcome?
Definitely! Usually children and young people join adults for the opening part of the Sunday Morning Service before going to special age-based groups. At the moment, we cannot provide groups for children and young people so they will need to remain with the adults who brought them for the duration of the service. We are looking to restart our children's groups as soon as is safe and practical.
Will I have to join in?
You are welcome to join in as much as feels comfortable to you, or simply to observe.
I’m not yet a Christian. Can I still come?
Certainly. We hope our Services will help you on your journey of faith. We know that many of our members have met Jesus for the first time or in new ways as we have worshipped together. We also encourage you to join one of our Alpha Courses, which we have found a really helpful way for people to explore the Christian faith further.
How can I get involved beyond coming to Services?
We encourage everyone to join a Life Group. These meet around the local area and are an opportunity to study the Bible, worship and pray together, care for, support and encourage each other, and reach out with God’s love to those around us. Hospitality and food also feature highly in normal circumstances! Most of our life groups are still meeting virtually during this time.
We organise a variety of special and social events throughout the year, and there are loads of regular groups and activities that you can join in. We also encourage everyone to find a way of serving others through what we do.
