Youth and Children 

Here you will find all the up to date information about what is happening with youth and children at HTR along with helpful resources for children, young people and their parents.

Children

Family Slot - During our Sunday Morning Services in the first half of 2021 we had a small section called a 'Family Slot'. In these fun sessions we had specific activities, bible readings and short messages that were targeted at children and families. On various occasions, we sent out activity sheets for the children to do during the week.

All Age Service - We regularly host 'All Age Services' which are intended to bring the family of God together and for them to grow in their faith. During these Services, we have games, prayer activities, creative elements and more. If you would like to see a list of our upcoming services then you can find them here.

Sunday Groups - We run groups for children aged 0-11, and you can find our more information here. If you would like your child to join, then please find the dates below, you can find the registration form for Sunday Groups here. Please send the completed form back to Sue.

Youth

Families

Newsletter- We send a termly Children, Youth and Families newsletter to the church and this will inform everyone about upcoming events, Sunday school, activities and more. If you would like to receive this then please email the Church Office.

Care for the Family - Care for the Family is now running many of its most popular events online. For further details please visit its website.

Worship at Home: 

• One Way UK are best known for their Puppet Ministry, but in these extraordinary times they have collated a whole range of sites & resources to support children, youth & family ministry
• Engage Worship are adding a new family prayer/worship activity each day. 
• Fischy Music are doing an online assembly at 11am on a Monday. We think it’s once a week.

• Church @ Home is a resource for families with children aged 4-11 years (and younger children could join in with these activities)

• Insight have produced a great Easter resource for Key Stage 2 aged children

• Digital Family Prayer Adventure
• Prayer Prod: A reminder to take 10 minutes away from work, chores and home life to be with God.
• Faith at Home / YCW: Faith at Home is a monthly digital magazine for parents to encourage you in sharing and exploring faith at home. Sign up for a free account with Youth and Children’s Work magazine and you can download all current and previous editions.
• Bible Chat Mat: The Go Team at Bath & Wells Diocese have produced these printable mats to encourage faith conversations at home. Colour them in, read the Bible passage and discuss the questions and pray together.
• Engage at Home / daily family prayer & worship activities: Engage Worship are producing a daily simple prayer and worship activity for families to do together using movement, interaction, craft, play and more. 
• Bible Podlets: These simple podcasts from Blackburn Diocese Board of Education offer Bible study and discussion suitable for all ages. Each podcast is 15-20 mins long.
• Rend Co Kids: This website has lots of great videos of well-known Rend Collective songs in a child-friendly style.
• Bethel Kids: This is the official Youtube channel of Bethel Kids with videos of all their well-known songs.
• Hillsong Kids: This is the official Youtube channel of Hillsong Kids with videos of all their well-known songs.

K-now what is the purpose of all this.
D-well in His presence. Do not panic.
