Some key information about HTR

When and where does the church meet?

We meet at 10.00 and 18.30 on Sundays and 11.30 on Wednesdays. Our address is Holy Trinity Church, Sheen Park, Richmond, TW9 1UP.

How do I get there?

If you come by car, we have a small car park and there are some spaces in local streets. We are about ten minutes’ walk from Richmond Station (train and underground services). Many buses serve the town, and some have stops very close to the Church Centre.

What should I expect when I visit church?

Sunday morning is our busiest Service of the week and is popular with families. The music is mostly contemporary, but also includes traditional hymns. We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the Service.

At the heart of Sunday evening is meeting God through worship and teaching. This is a smaller gathering, with tea, coffee and cake before and after the Service!

Our Wednesday Service is more traditional, with Holy Communion once a month. Our older members particularly appreciate this Service, but it's open to all. There is some form of lunch each week after the Service.

Are children welcome?

Definitely! On most weeks children and young people join adults for the opening part of the Sunday Morning Service  before going to special age-based groups. Sometimes everyone stays together in church for All Age Worship. There is a group or a crèche facility each week for very young children.

Will I have to join in?

You are welcome to join in as much as feels comfortable to you, or simply to observe.

I’m not yet a Christian. Can I still come?

Certainly. We hope our Services will help you on your journey of faith. We know that many of our members have met Jesus for the first time or in new ways as we have worshipped together. We also encourage you to join one of our Alpha Courses, which we have found a really helpful way for people to explore the Christian faith further.

How can I get involved beyond coming to Services?

We encourage everyone to join a Life Group. These meet around the local area and are an opportunity to study the Bible, worship and pray together, care for, support and encourage each other, and reach out with God’s love to those around us. Hospitality and food also feature highly!

We organise a variety of special and social events throughout the year, and there are loads of regular groups and activities that you can join in. We also encourage everyone to find a way of serving others through what we do.
