Men

mensbreakfast1There are lots of opportunities for men to become involved in the life of our church. We have Saturday Morning Breakfasts two or three times a year, where we usually hear from an inspiring outside speaker who shares something of his faith and encourages us in our own walk with God. We have regular social events which, like our breakfasts, are a wltdogreat opportunity to invite friends along and for them to discover that being a Christian and becoming part of a local church can be real and relevant for them. Alongside the many Life Groups across our church we have one especially for men, which meets twice a month to study, worship and pray together, grappling with the challenges of living as a Christian in today's world.  An annual Weekend Away is a highlight in our calendar, giving an opportunity to relax together, build friendships and grow in our faith. And several men are involved each month in Who Let the Dads Out?, where men in our local area can bring their young children along for an activity morning while they drink coffee, eat bacons sarnies, read the newspapers and meet some of the men in our church.

If you'd like to become involved with us in any of these ways, please contact Alwyn Webb by e-mail or via our Church Office (020  8404 1112)
