Faithfulness 

For his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
(Lamentations 3 v 22)

 
Over the last few weeks in my family, we have been celebrating a few milestone birthdays.  My Mum has this lovely, but occasionally embarrassing, tradition of putting together a photo board to celebrate and reflect on family fun over previous years/decades. 
 
A few weeks ago she presented her latest board and we spent time remembering events and stories, laughing at things that had gone well and funny stories which have become folklore within the family. 
 
One of the things that the photos show is that we have walked together through these events.  It makes me think of God’s faithfulness and how he walks with us through the ups and downs of life.  So perhaps this week you could look at some photos and thank God for the people he has put around you. Take some time to thank him for his faithfulness that through all the photos that you see and that through it all, he was also there.
