Our church's response to the pandemic
God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear ... (Psalm 46:1,2)
The pandemic will continue to have an impact on us all for some time and the disruption of Covid 19 has made us more aware of how personal choices can impact others and how important it is to respect each other and take the safety of others seriously.
As we establish old and new routines in our church fellowship, we will do so whilst learning to live safely with Covid19. Below is a list that outlines the actions we will take and our recommendations for you to carry out in order to continue keeping everyone as safe as possible:
We will continue to encourage the practice of good hygiene at all times by keeping signage in place to remind people to cover their coughs and sneezes and to outline the importance of handwashing.
We will ensure plenty of soap is available at all times along with hand sanitiser placed strategically for events and services.
If you have symptons of covid 19, we recommend you stay away from church events and services.
Mask wearing is a choice, please continue to wear masks if you want to reduce the chance of spreading infection or to protect yourself.
We will continue to ventilate our meeting spaces as much as possible and continue with daily professional cleaning of our church building.
Communion will continue in one kind only until further notice and the peace will be carried out after a clear message about respecting each other’s preferences is given each time beforehand.
