Safeguarding

We are committed to protecting, nurturing and safeguarding all members of our church, and especially children, young people and adults when they take part in our Services, groups and other activities. We operate according to ‘A Safe Church’, which outlines the Diocese of Southwark’s policies, procedures and guidelines for safeguarding.

We will respond promptly and thoroughly to concerns about children, young people and adults at risk according to our procedures, recognising the need for confidentiality and the potential sensitivity of situations. We will do this in a structured way that involves our Parish Safeguarding Officers, Senior Pastoral Staff and the Diocesan Safeguarding Team.

Our church policies can be viewed here:

Policy for safeguarding children and young people
Policy for safeguarding adults who may be vulnerable
Policy for responding to domestic abuse

You will find a copy of 'A Safe Church' on the Diocese of Southwark's website. A copy is also available in our Church Office.

The Parish Safeguarding Officers for our church are Georges Kesrouani and Ellie Hughes. You can contact them via our Church Office by e-mail or on 020 8404 1112. You can contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, Kate Singleton, on 020 7939 9423.
