These extraordinary words are from Francis Chan in his book Crazy Love. In his book Chan examines how we should live towards God who in Jesus loves and pursues us relentlessly. Out of his own radical walk with Jesus Christ, Chan calls his readers to give their best to the One who has given his all. Why wouldn’t we do this when we understand how much God loves us and has given for us! Chan reminds us we have only one life and when we live it wholly for Jesus nothing comes close in terms of the meaning and joy we experience. Joshua’s challenge to his people as they entered the Promised Land is the challenge the Lord brings to us……Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you. (Joshua 3v5)
